The Firm
Pádraig Foley & Co. Solicitors was established by the Principal of the firm Pádraig Foley in the year 2000.
As a Solicitor in Dingle Pádraig has extensive experience in dealing with Conveyancing, Probate, Litigation and Family Law issues.
He has brought cases on behalf of clients in all Courts. Pádraig has also represented clients before the Refugee Appeals Tribunal, The Residential Institutions Redress Board and The Child Abuse Committee.
He also does private Solicitor work for the Mental Health Commission on an ongoing basis.
As Solicitor for Right of Place Kerry, Pádraig was involved over a number of years in the campaign by victims of Institutional abuse in Ireland for Social Justice and Redress.
Prior to pursuing a career as a Solicitor Pádraig Foley worked in the Department of Social Welfare as a Social Welfare Officer. He was also in the Ministry of the Department involved with preparation of legislation, drafting Policy documents and replying to Dáil questions.
On qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994, Pádraig worked initially with Joseph Maguire & Co. Solicitors in Bray,
Co. Wicklow where he got extensive Court experience in Family Law and Litigation attending cases in the Four Courts on a weekly basis.
When he decided to come back to Kerry, Pádraig worked for a number of years with Frank O’Connor, Solicitor, Dingle before setting up his own practice in the year 2000.
Having adopted two children, Pádraig has a particular interest in International Adoption and assists couples with legalisation of their adoption papers, having been appointed a Notary Public by Ms. Justice Susan Denham of the Supreme Court. He is a member of the Vietnam Irish Support Group and The Irish Ethiopian Adoption Association.
Pádraig Foley is a former President of Dingle Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Rotary Club Dingle, Past Captain of Ceann Sibéal Golf Club and has served on the Board of Management of a number of local schools and has an ongoing involvement with a number of local organisations.
